Design

We can design your new web site from scratch. This would include designing logos, choosing colour schemes and formatting page contents. All page text will be provided by you in the shape of simple text files or word documents. This ensures that your web site will say exactly what you want it to say. All pages will be checked in all major browsers including Safari to make sure they display properly for the majority of surfers.

If you already have a company logo we can incorporate it into the site along with any other graphics you submit.

Images

Photographic images are a very important part of your web site. You can either submit web ready, edited pictures if you know exactly what you want or you can submit them unedited. We will then optimise them for the web and enhance them if required, for instance, we can add a drop shadow. See example below.

Alternatively you could display a small thumbnail that links to the larger image.

Publishing

The completed web site will have to be stored on a server so that people can browse to your site. We can arrange this for you. The basic package will include 2 years of add-free web hosting and a co.uk domain name (see Domain Names).

You may already have web space from your service provider. If this is the case we can upload the finished site to your server. You must provide us with all necessary additional login information if this is the case.

If you require a specific server technology or you want to use databases we can tailor a package to suit.

Domain Name

The basic web package we provide will include a co.uk domain name.

You will choose your domain name depending on your preferred name of your web site. Domain names can't be duplicated so if you want a popular title you may have to settle for a variation. Domain names are not free and need to be re-registered periodically. If you want an alternative suffix (TLD) such as .com or .net this will incur additional costs as these are more expensive.

Our package includes two years web hosting and domain name registration. You will incur an annual charge after this period depending on the chosen package - see full tariff.

Maintenance

Your web site may require additional updating once 'live' from small text editing to adding/subtracting entire pages. See our prices page for the full tariff.
